Job:
Godwin
developed a
pumping system
which included
two DPC300
Dri-PrimeŽ
pumps, two
HeidraŽ 250
hydraulic
submersible
pumps, and five
95 horsepower
electric
submersible
pumps to launch
a popular cruise
ship last
summer. The
shipyard needed
an additional
40,000 gpm of
pumping capacity
to launch the
ship in time for
its next cruise.
The ship was in
dry dock for
unexpected
repairs which
caused delays to
the schedule.
Providing the
extra pumping
capacity saved
the cruise line
money, because
fortunately the
ship was ready
for its next
voyage.
