Godwin Pumps - Construction Applications

Together, Godwin Pumps and Portadam® accomplished a complete river crossing, rather than diverting half the river at a time. This saved the contractor two weeks of work and a considerable amount of money. The pumping system included four 12-inch Godwin DPC300 Dri-Prime® pumps to divert the estimated 40 cubic feet per second of river flow. To dewater the Portadam cofferdam, three 6-inch and one 4-inch Godwin Heidra® hydraulic submersible pumps and two 6-inch Godwin Dri-Prime pumps were utilized.
