Godwin Pumps - Mines Applications

Godwin partnered with the owner of this lime stone quarry to redesign a pump and piping system that included 10 high head Godwin Dri-Prime® pumps and a custom built manifold. The new system allowed the customer to increase the amount of water pumped out of the quarry by maximizing the efficiency of his existing pumps. The pumping system was designed to dewater a lower pond, move the water to an upper dam 1,500 feet away and then out of the quarry and into a nearby creek. Combined pumping capacity reached 40 mgd in an around-the-clock operation.
