Godwin Pumps Announces New Dri-Prime Pump

BRIDGEPORT, NJ - Godwin Pumps of America, Inc., the largest manufacturer of portable rental pumps in North America, announced today the addition of the CD300M 12-inch portable trash pump to its line of Dri-Prime automatic self priming pumps.

"We are pleased to offer a new trash pump in our family of Dri-Primes," said John Michael Paz, president, Godwin Pumps. "With the CD300M model, we now have a high head pump offering in our CD series which is well known for handling high volumes and large solids."

According to Paz, the CD300M Dri-Prime handles flows to 6,000 gpm, heads to 200 feet, and solids to 3.75 inches in diameter. "This pump is ideal for contractors or anyone who has a large volume dewatering job with high heads," said Paz.

Like all Godwin Dri-Prime pumps, the CD300M model primes and re-primes automatically from dry up to 28 feet of suction lift. However, according to Godwin Pumps National Sales Ma

nager, Joe Abbott, this particular model has two unique features. "Our new CD300M Dri-Prime is designed to be direct coupled to the engine flywheel which enhances its compactness," said Abbott. He added, "This feature also increases reliability, because there is no need for a gear box or belt drive."

"Secondly, the pump has a double, high pressure oil bath mechanical seal designed with solid silicon carbide faces," said Abbott. "The unique oil bath mechanical seal allows the pump to run dry indefinitely without damage - a great feature for pumping jobs with intermittent flow."

Other CD300M Dri-Prime pump features include a cast chromium steel impeller and a low profile discharge design. Engine options include a CAT 3126TA or John Deere 6081AF.
