Godwin Pumps Introduces New Hydraulic Submersible
BRIDGEPORT, NJ - Godwin Pumps of America, Inc., announced today its new Heidra 200 eight-inch hydraulic submersible pump for heavy duty dewatering applications.
"This new addition to our line of Heidras is ideal for municipal and industrial applications," said John Michael Paz, president, Godwin Pumps. "However, with its solids handling capability of up to 3 1/8 inches, this pump satisfies general pumping needs, too." Paz added, "Customers find the hydraulic models an alternative to electric submersibles, because the pumpends are explosion proof and they are perfect for job sites where electricity is not readily available."
With maximum flow rates to 2900 gpm and discharge heads to 180 feet, the new Heidra 200 hydraulic submersible pump boasts a rugged construction, specifically a cast chromium steel impeller and a cast iron pumpend.
A unique double, oil bath mechanical seal design gives the Heidra 200 model unlimited dry running capability, an ideal feature for jobs with intermittent flow conditions. An integral 175 gallon fuel tank capacity provides over 24 hours of continuous operation.
Powered by a variable speed diesel engine for flexibility, the new Heidra 200 hydraulic submersible pump comes standard with a John Deere 6068T model and is available with other engines as well. Electric drive versions also are available.
